TEXT: Groups of mammals.

There are four groups of mammals:😺

Carnivores hunt for food. They have sharp teeth and claws on their feet. Tigers, dogs and polar bears are carnivores.

Mammals are terrestrial and have feet with hooves. Sheep, zebras, goats and pigs are mammals with hooves.

Primates are terrestrial mammals. They have hands and feet with five fingers and toes. Gorillas, monkeys or human beings are primates.

 

Cetaceans are aquatic mammals. They have got long bodies and move using their fins and tail. They breathe in air through a hole called a blowhole. Dolphins and whales are cetaceans.
